Rautahat, 16 February: Nepali Congress organised a huge demonstration in Rautahat headquarters Gaur, condemning the ‘regressive move’ of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The demonstration led by NC district Chair Krishna Prasad Yadav saw the participation of MP Dev Prasad Timalsina, Provincial Assembly members Dhanalal Thokar and Shekh Rashid Ali, along with party Mahasamiti members, General Convention representatives, chiefs of eight local bodies and other leaders and cadres, who chanted slogans against the prime minister, warning that the country would witness bloodshed if the regressive move was not corrected.
The demonstration that started from Gaur Rice Mills ground took a round of the town before converging into a corner meeting at BP Chowk.
