Sirha, 13 December: A group led by former lawmaker Sarita Giri has staged a demonstration in Lahan, Siraha.
The anti-China rally, which was taken out from the premises of the local Pashupati Adarsh Secondary School, later turned into a corner meeting. Participants of the anti-China rally in Lahan.
The demonstrators shouted slogans such as “Ensure Democracy”, “Protect Civil Rights”, “Go Back China”, “Stop Chinese Interference in Nepal’s Politics”, “Return Nepali Land Encroached by China,, among others Participants said that they were forced to take part in the demonstration as leader Sarita Giri was “taken action” in the issue of Nepal’s revised map owing to increased Chinese interference in Nepal’s politics.
