Janakpurdham, 10 June: Province 2 is going to run free health insurance program for Dalit, marginalized and deprived families within the next fiscal year.
The state government has made public the policy and program for the coming fiscal year 2078/79 BS and provided free health insurance to the deprived community. Chief Rajesh Jha has presented the policy and program in the meeting of the state assembly on Thursday. Policies and programs have been formulated keeping some old things intact.
In the policy and program, it has been stated that scholarships will be provided for the families of Adivasi Janajati, Dalit, Muslim, female students and martyrs of Madhes movement and injured families studying higher education.
Continuing the program of providing relief to the workers and the poor working on daily wages without self-employment, a self-employment program will be conducted for the working class, the poor and the dependent families of the martyrs who have lost their jobs from COVID.
The state government has a policy of operating trauma hospitals in Pathalaiya of Bara and Rupani of Saptari. The state government has stated that the distribution of smart driver's identity card will be started from the state itself and it will be operated effectively.
It is stated in the presented policy and program that the work of opening skill development centers in Birgunj, Janakpurdham and Rajbiraj will be taken forward.
The government has adopted a policy of constructing, maintaining and managing at least one reservoir / pond in each provincial constituency and formulating and implementing a state level master plan for the forest area to realize the guideline of 'protection is our mind, forest of the province is the wealth of the province'.
The work of planting saplings along the roadside will be continued in collaboration with the local level to embody the slogan 'Tree wherever there is road, it brings happiness'.
Under the Chief Minister's Green State Campaign, the campaign of planting 10 million saplings annually will be expanded. The state government has stated that plants of religious, cultural and environmental importance including Var, Peepal, Sami and Nimal will be planted.
The state government has mentioned that a Madhes Conference Center will be constructed in Janakpurdham and development authorities will be formed in both Birgunj and Janakpurdham.
It has been mentioned in the policy and program that the state transport bus purchased in the current fiscal year will be operational from the next fiscal year.
