Kathmandu, 2 June: The Election Commission has sent a letter to both parties saying that the process has not been completed.
The commission has written to JSP Federal Council Chairman Dr Baburam Bhattarai and Chairman Upendra Yadav to fill in the details as per the schedule in the Political Parties Act.
Prakash Adhikari, an executive member close to Bhattarai-Yadav, said that the commission had sent a letter to reconcile some of the procedures.
Similarly, the commission has sent a letter to another chairman Mahanta Thakur and senior leader Rajendra Mahato to complete all the procedures including the decision taken by the party.
The commission has asked the party for clarification, minutes of the meeting and other details. The Thakur-Mahato faction had only sent a letter of action.
Keshav Jha, an executive member close to Thakur and Mahato, said that the commission should complete all the procedures related to the party's decision.
In JSP, one side has announced action against the other side. The Bhattarai-Yadav faction has expelled four people, including Thakur and Mahato, from the party, while the Thakur-Mahato faction has expelled Yadav.
