Petroleum pipeline project making good progress, says visiting Indian Minister


Talking to journalists in Janakpurdham, he said, “Looking at the performance of the project indicates that the pipeline extension work is going to be completed within the deadline.”

On the occasion, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply Matrika Prasad Yadav said 60 per cent of the petroleum pipeline construction works have been completed. He believed that supply of petroleum products would be smooth and easier, and the transportation cost also reduced after the project is completed and becomes operational.

In response to a question, the Supply Minister clarified that the price of petroleum products has been increased in Nepal due to the increase of petrol prices in the international market.
